Trump Demands Egypt And Jordan Accept Gaza Population Relocation

Egypt is developing a “comprehensive vision” for Gaza’s reconstruction that ensures Palestinians remain on their land, contrasting with President Donald Trump’s proposal to relocate Gaza’s population.

The Egyptian foreign ministry expressed hopes to work with Trump’s administration while maintaining its position on Palestinian rights. This follows Trump’s meeting with Jordan’s King Abdullah, where he reinforced his plan for U.S. control of Gaza and the relocation of its two million Palestinians to neighboring countries.

During the White House meeting, Trump claimed this would bring unprecedented stability to the Middle East, stating “the Palestinians, or the people that live now in Gaza, will be living beautifully in another location.” He suggested he might withhold aid from Jordan and Egypt if they refused to cooperate.

King Abdullah firmly opposed the plan, emphasizing a unified Arab position against Palestinian displacement. Egypt’s foreign ministry responded by announcing its intention to present an alternative reconstruction plan that ensures Palestinians stay on their land. President Sisi reinforced this stance in a conversation with Denmark’s Prime Minister.

The situation remains tense as Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu threatened to end the ceasefire if Hamas doesn’t release more hostages by Saturday. Hamas has postponed further releases, claiming Israel violated the ceasefire terms.

The UN has warned that forced population displacement would violate international law and amount to ethnic cleansing. Palestinians fear a repeat of the 1948 Nakba when many fled or were driven from their homes. Currently, Gaza’s refugees and their descendants comprise three-quarters of its population.

The conflict has resulted in over 48,220 Palestinian deaths according to Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry, following Hamas’s October 7 attack that killed 1,200 Israelis and took 251 hostages. Most of Gaza’s population has been displaced, with nearly 70% of buildings damaged or destroyed, and critical infrastructure systems have collapsed.

Trump Freezes Ukraine Weapons Shipments As Russia Unleashes Massive Attacks

The United States has announced it is suspending certain weapons deliveries to Ukraine that were committed under the previous Biden administration, as Russia escalates its military offensive. The Biden-era commitments, which included various munitions to strengthen Ukraine's defenses, are under review as the Pentagon evaluates current inventory levels. This move may indicate changing priorities under President Trump, who has advocated for a more limited global military engagement. "This decision was made to put America's interests first following a review of our nation's military support and assistance to other countries across the globe," White House spokesperson Anna Kelly stated Tuesday. A Pentagon internal assessment determined some stockpiles were "too low" to justify immediate transfers to Ukraine, according to an unnamed US official cited by Politico, which first reported the military aid suspension. Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell emphasized that "America's military has […]

Chinese Spies Caught Red-Handed Infiltrating US Navy With Cash Payoffs

The United States Department of Justice has charged two Chinese citizens with espionage and attempting to recruit assets within the country's military. According to Tuesday's statement, Yuance Chen, 38, and Liren "Ryan" Lai, 39, are accused of operating on behalf of China's Ministry of State Security (MSS), the country's foreign intelligence service. The defendants allegedly conducted various "clandestine intelligence taskings," including facilitating payments for national security information, gathering intelligence on Navy installations, and attempting to recruit MSS operatives. Attorney General Pamela Bondi stated that the case "underscores the Chinese government's sustained and aggressive effort to infiltrate our military and undermine our national security from within." An FBI affidavit reveals that Lai was part of an MSS network designed to "travel more easily" between China and the US "to facilitate clandestine operations." Beginning around 2021, he developed Chen, a legal permanent […]

Trump Claims Israel Ready For Gaza Deal But Hamas Doubts Remain

President Donald Trump announced that Israel has agreed to "necessary conditions" for finalizing a 60-day Gaza ceasefire, stating the US would "work with all parties to end the War" during the proposed truce. Writing on Truth Social, Trump said Qatari and Egyptian mediators would deliver the final proposal, warning Hamas: "I hope... that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better โ€” IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE." Trump provided no specific details about the ceasefire terms. Israel has not officially confirmed agreement to any deal conditions. However, a Hamas official told the BBC the group is "ready and serious" to reach an agreement that ends the war. Hamas spokesperson Taher al-Nunu stated they are "prepared to agree to any proposal if the requirements for ending the war are clearly met or if they lead to its complete end." […]

Musk Declares War On Trump Over Spending Bill And Threatens New Political Party

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has intensified his opposition to President Donald Trump's tax cuts and spending legislation while calling for the creation of a new political party. Musk's criticism targets Trump's 940-page "Big, Beautiful Bill," which includes tax breaks alongside significant reductions to healthcare and food programs. The legislation has drawn opposition from Democrats and some Republicans. In early June, Musk, who served as a major Trump campaign donor and former key adviser, labeled the bill a "disgusting abomination," triggering a public dispute with the president. The two appeared to reconcile temporarily, with Trump expressing goodwill toward Musk and the billionaire posting on X that he regretted going "too far." However, as senators prepared to vote on bill amendments Monday, Musk renewed his attacks. He declared that lawmakers who campaigned on spending cuts but supported the bill "should hang their […]

Saudi Arabia Stuns Manchester City With Historic Club World Cup Victory

Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal delivered the biggest upset of the Club World Cup tournament, defeating Manchester City 4-3 in extra time to advance to the quarterfinals. The match concluded 2-2 after regulation time on Monday, with Marcos Leonardo scoring the decisive goal in extra time to secure what many consider one of the greatest victories in Middle Eastern football history. Al Hilal will now face Brazilian club Fluminense in the quarterfinals, guaranteeing a non-European team reaches the semifinals. Manchester City opened the scoring in the ninth minute through Bernardo Silva, who converted from Rayan Ait-Nouri's cross. Al Hilal protested that Ait-Nouri had used his arm in the buildup, but the goal was allowed to stand. City created numerous opportunities to extend their advantage before halftime, but poor finishing and outstanding goalkeeping from Moroccan keeper Yassine Bounou maintained the narrow lead. […]

Iran Refuses Trump Nuclear Talks Until US Promises No More Attacks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has dismissed the possibility of immediate nuclear negotiations with the United States, despite President Trump's suggestion that talks could begin within days. Speaking on CBS Evening News Monday, Araghchi responded to Trump's timeline while G7 foreign ministers simultaneously issued statements supporting renewed dialogue on Iran's nuclear program. Iran and the US were previously engaged in nuclear discussions when Israel conducted strikes on Iranian nuclear and military facilities. The US subsequently participated in attacks on Iran's Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan nuclear sites on June 21. While Tehran maintains its nuclear program serves peaceful purposes, both the US and Israel express concerns about potential weapons development capabilities. Araghchi indicated negotiations would require more time than Trump suggested, emphasizing Iran's need for security guarantees before reengaging. "In order for us to decide to reengage, we would have to […]

Senate Battles Through Night Over Trump’s Massive Spending Bill That Could Strip 12 Million of Healthcare

The US Senate has conducted a marathon overnight voting session on a comprehensive budget bill central to President Trump's legislative priorities. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act, spanning nearly 1,000 pages, proposes increased spending for border security, defense, and energy production, balanced by reductions to healthcare and food-support programs. The legislation's future remains uncertain as Republicans, controlling both congressional chambers, are divided over the extent of welfare program cuts needed to fund tax break extensions. Following Senate approval, the bill would return to the House of Representatives for final passage before reaching Trump's desk. Senators have engaged in a "vote-a-rama" process since Monday night into Tuesday, debating and voting on individual amendments. The session has exceeded 22 hours. Vice President JD Vance arrived at Capitol Hill after 06:00 EST, suggesting Senate Republicans may require his tie-breaking vote. Republicans can afford […]
