The Zambian government has launched an emergency school feeding program in the Luampa district to mitigate the impact of the ongoing drought on school children. The program aims to provide nutritious meals to pupils facing hunger and ensure continued access to education. Acting District Commissioner Michael Masinja officiated the launch, emphasizing the government's commitment to addressing the drought's consequences.
