Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig Crowned Miss Universe 2024
Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, a 21-year-old from Denmark, has made history by becoming the first Danish contestant to win the Miss Universe crown. Theilvig, a dancer, entrepreneur, and animal rights activist, triumphed over more than 120 contestants in the 73rd edition of the pageant held in Mexico City. The competition showcased a diverse group of women, including Chidimma Adetshina, a law student representing Nigeria, who became the first runner-up. Maria Fernanda Beltran of Mexico, Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand, and Ileana Marquez of Venezuela rounded out the top five.
