Kerr, now 56, earned his intimidating nickname "The Smashing Machine" through his devastating fighting style during MMA's formative years, when fighters often competed multiple times in a single night. The Ohio native's remarkable career included four first-round stoppage wins at UFC 14 and UFC 15 in 1997, with his longest bout lasting just 133 seconds. However, the film delves beyond Kerr's octagon dominance to explore his harrowing struggle with painkiller addiction, which culminated in a life-threatening overdose in 1999. Cromwell Street Residents Still Face Stigma Decades After West Murders

Residents of Cromwell Street in Gloucester, where Fred and Rose West committed their infamous murders, report that the area continues to be affected by stigma and social problems decades after the crimes. Although the house at 25 Cromwell Streetโ€”where the couple murdered at least 12 young women and girls between 1967 and 1987โ€”was demolished and replaced with an alleyway to the city centre, local residents say the emotional impact remains. Explosion at California Fertility Clinic Linked to “Anti-Pro-Life” Extremist

A 25-year-old California man identified as the suspect in a devastating explosion at a Palm Springs fertility clinic left behind writings expressing "anti-pro-life" views before the attack, which authorities are investigating as terrorism. The FBI identified Guy Edward Bartkus of Twentynine Palms as the suspect who died in the Saturday blast that severely damaged the American Reproductive Centers clinic in Palm Springs, an upscale desert city east of Los Angeles. Investigators revealed that Bartkus attempted to livestream the explosion and left writings containing "nihilistic ideations" that suggested anti-natalist viewsโ€”a philosophy opposing human reproduction. U.S. Attorney Bilal "Bill" Essayli characterized the message as "anti-pro-life." "This was a targeted attack against the IVF facility," said Akil Davis, assistant director of the FBI's Los Angeles field office. "Make no mistake: we are treating this as an intentional act of terrorism." The explosion, which […]
